HMS Bounty: The HMS Bounty gained fame for one of history’s most infamous mutinies. On April 28, 1789, under the leadership of Lieutenant Fletcher Christian, the crew seized control of the ship from Captain William Bligh. Following the mutiny, Bligh and 18 loyalists navigated over 3,500 nautical miles to safety, while the mutineers settled on Tahiti or Pitcairn Island. In 1790, Captain Bligh, aboard the HMS Pandora, captured several of the mutineers.

Cook Islands: Located in the South Pacific Ocean, the Cook Islands consist of fifteen small islands divided into two groups of coral atolls: the Southern Cook Islands and the Northern Cook Islands. The majority of the population resides in the Southern group.
