This left-profile bust of the Roman goddess of fortune shows her with a blindfold covering her eyes and a cornucopia on her head. The horn of plenty, as it is known, spills forth a wealth of coins into her waiting hands at the bottom of the design field on the bar.

Fortuna was not only the Roman goddess of fortune, she was also a personification of luck in Roman religion. Her popularity far outlasted the era of the Roman Empire as she remained a popular figure through the Middles Ages and into the early Renaissance.

On the reverse side of 1/2 oz Fortuna Veriscan Gold Bars is a depiction of the PAMP logo with identifying markers inscribed as well. The logo consists of four circles housing the individual letters from “PAMP,” while the word “Suisse” is engraved below.
